XANADU 111' (34m) Moonen for Charter in SE Asia

Xanadu virtual tour

Description

The 111.5-foot (34m) XANADU (ex XANADU OF LONDON) has been fully refitted over a two-year period to the highest of standards. Originally completed at Moonen in 1997, designer Frank Neubelt states XANADU as the turning point in his design path: “The owner was pushing boundaries in innovation with Xanadu, and he was very excited about what we were doing." The yacht's exterior still looks contemporary today and after her refit she was relaunched in November 2021 in as good as new condition. All machinery was completely overhauled, exterior was resprayed, she was fitted with new teak decks and all systems were upgraded. Her fresh, new exterior furnishings, updated interior touches, and functional lay-out allow for sophisticated entertaining, socializing and dining.

The yacht's timelessly elegant interior showcases rich high-gloss cherry woods and plush furnishings to create a stylish and welcoming ambiance. The formal dining is uniquely located aft of the main salon and offers guests a wonderful dining experience while enjoying exceptional views.

XANADU welcomes eight guests in four luxurious staterooms. Her full-beam, main-deck master suite is fitted with a skylight to dazzle stargazers and includes a private study with an optional sofa bed for an extra guest. The master has a king-size bed and lavish en-suite bathroom with gold-plated fittings. The stately yacht’s additional three spacious double-bed staterooms are located on the lower deck, and are complete with their own en-suite bathrooms.

Motor yacht XANADU’s flybridge provides space for yoga sessions, massage, and lounging with family and friends. Complete with a bar, barbeque, sun pads, alfresco dining and sensational views of the cruising destination, everyone will enjoy time spent on deck.

To further unwind, XANADU features a sauna with shower room on the lower deck, providing leisurely relaxation. Her wide range of water toys include two underwater scooters, Yamaha FX Cruiser and an inflatable dock with netted swimming pool.

XANADU is equipped with stabilizers ensuring a comfortable time on board.

XANADU's cruising locations in SE Asia include Phuket, Thailand and Langkawi, Malaysia. Other destinations in Southeast Asia upon request.

Northrop & Johnson’s Australian-born Yacht Broker Jim Poulsen calls Phuket, Thailand, his home. He has been actively working in the international marine brokerage and dealership industry since 2004.

Jim spent his teens and early 20s racing yachts on the Australian east-coast circuit. He then decided to turn his passion for yachting and multihull racing into a career. He was fortunate enough to generate a portion of his sea time in the Whitsundays — part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park — which is a naturally beautiful, yet nautically challenging part of the world. Jim achieved his dream of becoming a commercial captain accredited with his USL Master Class 5 captain license in Australia, which led him to crew and command iconic maxi yachts.

Having a personal approach with his clients and their assets, Jim’s attention to detail and transparent, enjoyable buyer-seller experience garnered him an exemplary reputation among all types of clientele. Jim easily adopted technological advancements to utilize the latest in marketing tools, including video production, photography and 3D scanning, enabling his clients’ vessels achieve maximum exposure and excellence in presentation for their prospective new owners.

Now approaching 15 years as a senior yacht broker with Lee Marine, and now Northrop & Johnson, Jim’s experience with new and brokerage vessels, sale and purchase contracts, registration, insurance, logistics and creative coordination of advertising have taken him all over the world, creating an extensive client and industry network.

Jim’s undeniable passion for yachts and genuine interest in seeing his clients creating priceless life experiences give him enormous satisfaction; this greatly aids him in his role at Northrop & Johnson.
