David Kennedy

Captain

Captain Dave Kennedy began sailing in Nantucket at the mere age of 5; little did he know, 20 years later, it would become his lifelong career. Dave has had the good fortune of owning and living aboard 5 different vessels from Santa Cruz to St. Thomas to Newport, Rhode Island. He has completed 8 Atlantic crossings, 4 east and 4 west - all of which have allowed him to excel in all aspects of the boating industry. Having Captained vessels throughout his career from sailing yachts up to 164' luxury yachts, Dave has had the enjoyment of spending time all over the world, including Italy, France, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Turkey. While having extensive wordly adventures, Captain Dave finds The Bahamas to be his favorite cruising grounds. Chartering and private ventures over 22 years have given him abundant knowledge of this beautiful island nation. Dave has a laid back, welcoming approach to his position as Captain. He enjoys guest interactions, excursions, and the occasional jokes; all with the utmost desire to give guests the experience of a lifetime. In his down time, Dave has been known to rescue animals throughout the Bahamas, Virgin Islands and of course, the US. If the waves are inviting, he can also be found on a longboard enjoying the setting horizon.

Haley Satterfield

Chief Stewardess

Growing up on Florida's coast, Haley's love for the ocean began at a very young age. When not working you can find Haley skateboarding, surfing, snorkeling or enveloped in the next crime/ mystery novel, taking in the sunset.

Tony Martindale

Chef

BIO: Smiling, enthusiastic and high-energy come to mind when thinking of Executive Chef Tory. Currently, Chef Tory has been previously working as a Private Chef and F&B Director for a financial corporation. Here he oversaw catering for the office, jet, helicopter, and yacht as well as controlling the wine cellar program and cigar library. Before this he was developing good concepts and working with the newly formed restaurant group, 88 Napkins, to begin a series of culinary destinations in Florida and throughout the USA.Though his boyish good looks wouldn’t reveal it, he was a twenty-four-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, spending time working in the kitchens of Dublin, Nevin, Santa Barbara, Vancouver, Whistler for the 2010 Olympics and Palm Beach, where he was instrumental in developing the concepts for the 2018 renovations and repositioning of the resorts F&B in the local market. Chef Tory cut his culinary teeth while training in Vancouver, Canada, where a wealth of Asian cultures painted a vivid landscape in the culinary food scene. His food philosophy is based on two key elements – top-notch technique, and thoughtful, interesting flavor combinations He sees food as an art form that relies on all the senses for full appreciation; continually striving to create memorable dining experiences for his guests. Tory cites a creative, talented, and well-experienced team as the secrets to success. He is an avid supporter of chef driven charities such as No Kid Hungry and Pie It Forward. He enjoys tending to his own garden and cooking for friends and family, including his wife and adult daughter. As his hobbies, he enjoys lamp work glass blowing and making chef knives.
