Vessel Summary

This incredible yacht is truly one of a kind. Unlike all other yachts in its class, this boat has been designed so that she is more of an affordable luxury home, that can go anywhere and never have to visit a marina or dock! She is part of a new generation of eco-friendly and low footprint projects and trends that we have been seeing recently that have become extremely popular with the boating and marine industry as a whole. Rarely do you find this level of self-sufficiency in a vessel of this size. This incredible vessel makes her own power and makes her own drinking water; all from the sun! This Broward would serve her new owners well as a cruising yacht or floating luxury residence for long periods of time with very little outside interaction.

The current owners chose to use the boat as more of a home than a distant cruiser and in doing so decided that making her totally self-sufficient and self-reliant was paramount. They managed to run the vessel by themselves as the boat was customized to be able to be managed by just the two of them. Being experienced boaters, they were able to run the boat affordably by doing basic maintenance themselves and scheduling the hull maintenance over longer periods of time, by using long lasting hull products as is used in larger shipping. With all their electrical and water needs covered by the sun the only outgoing expense that they have for the boat was propane bottles which they refilled twice a year. Of course, everyone is different, you could do long distances, have a crew of four and stay in the most luxury marinas if you wish. The current owner's aims were different, and they have shown that

anyone can run a large “home” on the water for a fraction of the cost of your home on land...and with all the benefits!

The owner and guest staterooms are private and separated from the forward crew quarters by separate private access. The master stateroom is full beam and features a his and hers bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi bath. Located to starboard is a large guest cabin with walk around queen berth and ensuite bathroom. The portside cabin features two large single berths with a stowable bunk berth and ensuite bathroom. A staircase down from the galley accesses the private staircase to crew quarters. There is a double berth cabin located in a forward bow cabin plus two single crew berths with a shared mess and shared bathroom. The yacht’s 20-foot beam is noticeable as you walk throughout the boat. Starting aft at the stern, the swim platform is connected to the aft deck by a staircase at the transom which houses a garage with considerable space and head height. The aft cockpit sundeck is spacious, covered, and flows into the main salon. The salon is large, at nearly 30ft (9m) long and the full beam of the boat, larger that some homes. She has a bar at the far end near a formal dining table area. The on-deck day

head is located just forward of the bar to starboard. Moving forward is the wheelhouse, accessed via steps found on both port and starboard side. Flybridge is accessed from a manageable staircase in the wheelhouse and will find an upper equipped helm station with electronic controls at the port and starboard sides for easy docking as well as the normal driving position. The Flybridge also houses entertaining area for 20+ seated guests, a jacuzzi, adjustable lounging beds and a wet bar area. At the aft end of the flybridge you can find an upgraded crane for a jet ski and tender (not included). The yacht has a smart looking country kitchen forward from the wheelhouse with breakfast bar and large dining table just further forward and more than ample storage. Forward of this you find the private staircase to the crew quarters and engine room.

The self-sufficient electrical system is such that the boat is virtually silent at anchor and never has the need to run the generator day or night. Making for a quiet and environmentally clean living on the water.

Solar Power Capabilities

The vision for this boat was to create a comfortable gathering place for a growing family with the goal of keeping monthly running costs as low as possible. Speaking with the seller, he proudly shared..."we did it!" The yacht's solar panels work in congruence with the Victron 10,000-watt inverter and the Smart Lithium batteries to power the house. Even on a cloudy day, by noon the solar panels have the lithium battery bank charged to max. The watermakers filtration has no trouble producing the finest water for drinking. The water tank holds 1400 gallons; so ample water for washing the boat and luxury style off grid living. The solar self-sufficiency allowed this owner and his family to realize a dream. They have used their boat like a floating luxury mansion as they gunkholed throughout the Caribbean!

Broker Comments

The 2021 twist to this classic Broward Yacht is her "off the grid" solar self-sustainability. We are not aware of another yacht of this scale that can sit at anchor silently and rely on her solar power capabilities. Reliable Detroit Diesel engines, twin generators, bow thruster, stabilizers and Watermaker are a handful of features that make living at sea a pleasure. The huge covered flybridge deck, impressive main deck, country kitchen and the yacht's three luxurious staterooms add to the long list of positive attributes that have made Broward Yachts popular with yachtsmen and professional yacht crew alike. These aluminum boats are not overly complicated, and they were built to work. This Broward Yacht for example departed Port Everglades in November 2020 and cruised nonstop to Martinique. The sellers have been gunk-holing throughout the islands since. When they found an anchorage they loved, they dropped anchor and stayed...sometimes for months. In May 2022 the boat left the Caribbean and returned nonstop back to Fort Lauderdale in order to be sold.
