Cory is a native Texan and grew up on Cedar Creek Lake just outside of Dallas. He has enjoyed all the Highland Lakes around Austin for 15 years and has settled on the Texas Coast for the last 12 years just south of Houston, TX in League City, close to Galveston Bay & Clear Lake. When Cory is not “delivering the dream,” he enjoys boating on his 19 Whaler with his wife Clarissa and daughter Camilla.

Cory is an alumnus of the Yacht Broker Institute and the Yacht Sales Academy. He is a licensed Florida Yacht & Ship Broker, Certified Professional Yacht Broker CPYB, and a Coast Guard Licensed Captain. As a former member (and former Past President, Vice President, and Broker of the Year) of the Gulf Coast Yacht Brokers Association, he also supports and participates as a member of the International Yacht Brokers Association IYBA, Houston Big Game Fishing Club, and is a proud founding member of TMIC (Texas Marine Industry Coalition) & League City Chamber of Commerce.

Throughout his widespread career, Cory has been fortunate to represent the best boating and yachting brands in the business and has taken advantage of numerous manufacturer-training programs — as he firmly believes that every day is a learning experience. He has completed the Viking Yacht Master’s Program, is a valued Maritimo Specialist, and has visited the following factories for in-depth training: Cobalt, Cruisers Yachts, Four Winns, Formula, Maritimo, MasterCraft, Prestige, Princess, Sea Ray, Sharpe Houseboats, and Tiara Yachts.

Cory joined Team Galati as a certified yacht broker in 2012. Currently, he operates out of the Houston yacht brokerage in Texas. Although well versed in all markets, Cory specializes in the motor yacht and sport cruiser market, but has delivered a new 54 Viking and has a new 72 Viking under construction for delivery in 2023.
