HURRICANE IAN PROJECT BOAT: SELLING "AS IS" HUGE PRICE DECREASE! VESSEL AFLOAT WITH NO HULL DAMAGE AND NOT TAKING ON WATER. SYSTEMS APPEAR TO ALL WORK. ALL EQUIPMENT STILL COMES WITH THE VESSEL. MAST HAS BEEN LIFTED OUT OF THE WATER AND PLACED NICE AND SECURE ON THE BOAT (SEE FIRST PICTURE WITH MAST ON BOAT). MOTOR RUNS GREAT AND IT IS READY TO BE TAKEN TO A YARD. IF YOU ARE HANDY AND ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD DEAL WITH SOME PROJECTS...GIVE A CALL!

Fun Work is a Catalina 30 Tall Rig with bow sprit and even more exciting...she has been rigged with a removable inner forestay, similar to a “solent stay”, incorporated in the luff of the storm jib or staysail for use in high wind or stormy days. She is no run of the mill Catalina 30 as she is rigged to race, but also would be a quite capable offshore island hopper.

When was the last time you saw a Catalina Tall Rig that was cutter rigged with a removable inner forestay, ready to race, and still a capable cruiser? Fun Work is priced to sell...don't hesitate and miss out. Call or e-mail to set up a time to see her and DO NOT forget to watch the engine run video AND the boat tour video!

A native of Oregon, Clint enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 and shipped out to Naval boot camp (now closed) in Orlando, Florida in December of 1990. After boot camp, he attended the U.S. Navy's Nuclear Power School in Orlando and specialized in nuclear and mechanical engineering. After almost two years of nuclear engineering training, he joined the U.S. Navy's Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and served his remaining four years on a Los Angeles fast attack submarine, U.S.S. Honolulu SSN-718. In the years following his military service, he has worked for Hewlett-Packard in a maintenance and engineering support role and then as a licensed insurance agent for State Farm and Farmers insurance. Clint got the boating bug while living in Texas and started sailing and racing sailboats competitively nearly 40 weekends per year for many a year and has been a Catalina 22 Texas State Champion four times and won his first Catalina 22 National Championship in 2018. He and his wife recently relocated from Texas to St. Petersburg, Florida to expand their sailing and boating passion into the Gulf and Caribbean. Sailing may be Clint's passion, but he loves boats of all types. Give him a call or send him an e-mail and he'll be sure to get you answers to all of the questions you may have about the boat of your dreams.
