A Dutch national, Charter Manager and Broker Lies Sol has an insider's knowledge of the luxury yacht charter industry. She has been employed as a charter retail broker and charter manager for many years after a career on sail and power yachts up to 140 feet as a chef, chief stew and PADI dive instructor. Visiting international charter shows, inspecting yachts and meeting with captains and crew, Lies had gained insider knowledge of the best charter yachts worldwide.
Over the years Lies has extensively cruised the Asia-Pacific and the Caribbean and Florida. Since moving ashore, she has held positions as event manager of the Phuket King’s Cup and Phang Nga Bay regattas, writer for SEA Yachting and as PR manager of Phuket’s iconic Boathouse Resort.
Lies has lived in Thailand for decades, is a board member of the Thai Yachting Business Association (TYBA), a Bikram Yoga teacher and likes to go racing in local regattas
