Tartan 34-2 is a high-quality performance cruiser that is fun to sail and comfortable to stay on. Athena has been very well-maintained by her knowledgeable owner. She is in excellent condition and very well-equipped. She has the patented Scheel Keel with a 4’ 6” shoal draft.


Her galley is better equipped than many 42 footers—including a new Force 10 four burner stove with oven, fridge with freezer, huge counter space and a lot of storage area.


She has outstanding B&G electronics including, a heavy duty below deck autopilot, 7” Zeus chartplotter, radar, VHF and a couple of multi-function units.

Accommodations

Athena’s interior is luxurious with excellent craftsmanship throughout. Climate is controlled with a marine AC/Heat/Dehumidifier. Nine opening ports and two overhead hatches provide excellent ventilation when not plugged in.


The Salon boasts a bulkhead mounted folding table, providing a spacious salon when table is not deployed. Both straight and long settees provide comfortable seating and double as excellent seaberths. Lee cloths are installed and stored under settee cushions. Shelves and cabinets with louvered doors are above both settees.

The Forward Cabin has a V-berth with shelves on both sides.

The Head is just behind the forward cabin and has a manual commode full vanity, wet shower, courtesy lighting and nice cabinetry.

The Nav Station features and excellent nav desk with storage under and a set of attractive doors on the side. Above, there is plenty of space for a full array of electronics.

A large Quarter Berth is behind the nav station.
