Description
Sea Jewel II is a 1971 Hinckley 38. A Sparkman and Stephens design (No. 1903) with hulls built by Hughes Boatworks/Northstar Yachts in Ontario Canada and decks and interiors built by Hinckley Yachts in Maine. With 6000 lbs of lead in the keel and the engine below the cabin sole, she is a stiff and powerful sailing yacht. With pilot berths, port and starboard, drawers behind the extendable settees in the salon as well as a huge locker opposite the head and a large forward cabin with hanging locker and chest of drawers, she makes a great Racer Cruiser that can carry a full crew in comfort and style.
ACCOMMODATIONS
- Layout: Vee-Berth with filler cushion forward with drawers and hanging locker in the forward cabin. Also in the forward cabin is an overhead hatch Next aft is the head to port and a very large locker opposite. Next is the salon with settees that each pull out to make a berth as well as two pilot berths that are large enough for adults to use. Then comes the galley across the boat at the companionway. The galley features a large stainless steel icebox a three burner stove with oven and a single stainless steel sink. There is also a microwave oven and lots of storage space.
