Description
Manufacturer Provided Description
The Montauk has been a worldwide favorite for over 40 years, thanks to its center console design, superior lateral stability, its extra-dry ride and quick planing with minimal horsepower. Now, all those advantages have been kicked up several notches in the all-new 170 Montauk. Enjoy a softer ride and better performance, provided by its modified V-hull entry. With a much wider beam, there's more room inside for people and gear. And it comes in a remarkably affordable boat / motor / trailer package. The Montauk still provides great 360-degree walkaround fish fighting ability and a shallow 9-inch draft. The center console puts everything at the captain's fingertips, including binnacle control, drink holders, electrical switch panel, and electric horn. There's a spacious storage / anchor locker in the bow. And the reversible pilot seat has an adjustable 4-position seat back so it can be used as a bench or leaning post.
